13-year-old Addison Logan was browsing yard sales when an old Polaroid camera caught his eye. He bought it for $1 — and discovered a photo of his dead uncle inside.
“I was just blown away,” Addison said after realizing the man was his uncle.
[Addison’s grandmother] Lois Logan recognized the other person in the photo, as well: It was her son’s old girlfriend, Susan Ely. She figures the picture was taken during Scott Logan’s senior year of high school or freshman year in college, 10 years before a car accident took his life.
Meanwhile, no one knows where the camera came from, who took the photo, or why it remained stuck in the camera for decades.

Kudos, and hats off sir, mad respect.
Rafa

Now, since Formula 1 official language is english, let’s use ye old language.
I’d say that this is a moment to relive, again and again.
For the first time, we, lucky ones, get to hear the venezuelan national anthem at the end of a F1 race. To understand the emotion most of us feel (venezuelans, that is), you have to put into perspective that some of us even got a lullaby to the same tune.
A great day to feel proud about what we can accomplish, setting all this political crap aside. Congratulations Pastor, and thank you for giving us today, at least for a few moments, that which is so rare and precious these days in Venezuela, unity as a country.
We, as venezuelans, are not living the happiest of days (despite what some might say). The absurd levels of violence, the hardships of everyday life and most of all, that unerving feeling of living an undeclared war amongst ourselves, take most of our mindpower and attention, it would seem that arguing has become our way of life.
Yet, from time to time, and more often than not through sports (or music, magnificen orchestral music), we get that chance to experience joy together, as one nation, celebrating the idea that he, she or those who represent us, also represent what is good and positive about this country and its citizens, that when they triumph, we all do.
So, for the day, I will put all that baggage aside, political, social, ideological. Today I just will enjoy, and then repeat, that particular moment where a song meant to represent us as a nation plays, telling the world that “hey, look, we are Venezuela, and we can do great things too”
Thank you dude.
Well before the events depicted in Blizzard’s forthcoming Diablo III, there was a great war between archangels and demons. This short film by Aeon Flux’s Peter Chung and Metalocalypse animation house Titmouse, depicts “a fundamental moment in the battle between the High Heavens and the Burning…
